Scale Up Conference & Gala Awards Dinner

The cube, inspired by the Loan Market logo, became the key design feature of the conference, with nearly 40 custom cubes in different sizes stacked and suspended at varying heights. The structures added depth and dimension to Te Pae’s auditorium, with projection mapping and lighting by TES adding movement and energy. We carried the same design language through to the entrance, pairing branded cubes with a sleek, custom-built arch featuring clean architectural lines.

For the Gala Awards Dinner, we transformed Te Pae’s Exhibition Halls into a glamorous setting for more than 800 guests. Layered lighting, reflective details and dramatic scale shaped the space, with 26 custom-built fairy-light chandeliers suspended in clusters across the ceiling creating a striking focal point.

Nearly 1,000 vases filled with water and floating candles were clustered on mirrored bases across the tables creating a simple yet impactful centrepiece and a 30-metre red carpet, leading to festoon-lit stairs at the front of the stage, completed the grand awards-night feel.

Across both spaces, the design combined custom builds, lighting and styling to create a strong visual identity that carried the Scale Up message from conference through to celebration.
