Westfield Olympics 2024

As an official team supporter of the NZ Olympic and Paralympic teams, Westfield Riccarton NZ asked us to create a variety of displays and activations throughout the centre, celebrating the last 100 years of our amazing athletes.

Upstairs, next to the Olympic Fan Zone on Level 2 (where the Olympics and Paralympics were playing live on a large projector screen), we custom-built a 4-hole mini-golf course each representing a significant historical NZ sporting moment in athletics, rowing, cycling, and rugby. The team enjoyed getting creative with the obstacles, incorporating rugby balls, bicycle tyres, and even the end of a racing kayak.

Beside the mini-golf, we set up a special photo moment podium, where customers can show their support by snapping a picture of themselves with the NZ flag in front of a large graphic representing some of the diverse range of sports the NZ Team are competing in 2024.

Further down towards Farmers, there was a pop-up display of eye-catching signage, celebrating the last 100 years of our amazing athletes, with some key historical moments across both the Olympics and Paralympics.

Lastly, as you wander through the mall, be sure to stop at the ‘Spin a Sport’ display stand to learn some interesting facts about some of the NZ Olympic and Paralympic teams’ sports.
