For the Christchurch Airport Team Celebration, Chateau on the Park’s distinctive character naturally lent itself to a medieval theme. We used the venue as the starting point, then layered in custom details to create a cohesive look throughout the space.
Candelabras with flickering LED candles added height and drama, while medieval banners created a backdrop for the DJ desk, customised from one of our acrylic bars with swords.
A dedicated photo moment featured wooden panelling, a red throne and suit of armour, giving guests a fun way to step into the theme. Vintage tankards, old books, chests and silver goblets added character through the finer details.
By working with the venue rather than against it, we created a medieval-inspired setting that felt considered, cohesive and suited to the space.
Sometimes the venue itself is the best place to start.
