Enchanted Forest Formal

Wigram Airforce Museum was transported back in time to the 1920s for Cashmere High School Senior Formal for 2020. Students were led underneath an arch of white blossoms down a black-draped tunnel, lit with fairy lights and lanterns before emerging into an open space surrounded by magnificent vintage planes for their first of many photos for the night.

Following festoon draped wooden stanchions on either side of a green carpet, guests walked underneath white silk draping and whimsical greenery, into the magical main room. A huge fairy light chandelier in the centre of the room created a ‘wow’ effect and really anchored the theme. Our stunning white blossom trees, adorned with fairy lights, were placed around the room and complemented with up-lighting thanks to Light Site, to continue the magical effect.

Most importantly, several photo areas were created within the main room, to ensure all guests had plenty of opportunities to get the perfect photo. Whether against a wall of lush greenery, a flower wall, an ivy draped fairy light curtain, a park bench underneath a blossom tree, or a whimsical swing seat, the night was able to be captured in style to be remembered forever.
