Cirque du Soleil - Toruk, the First Flight

Theme Productions were excited to be part of the spectacular touring Cirque Du Soleil show, Toruk – the First Flight. The brief from Vbase was to enhance the guest experience in the Horncastle Arena entrance area.

We worked with the Vbase team to ensure guests were fully immersed under a Pandora-style canopy of foliage, giant flowers, glistening fairy-lights and amazing LED colour-changing light effects. As guest walked through they were greeted by the ‘Tree of Souls’ filled with changing lights and butterfly details. The tree proved popular with guests, with many taking the opportunity to get photos in front of the central suspended feature.

Framing each stairwell were large archways, covered in foliage, fairy-lights and oversized flowers adding spots of colour within the space. These features, combined with themed lighting helped to incorporate and continue the Pandora environment from the entrance thru to the main event.

For VIP guests Theme Productions created an intimate elegant space framed with white silk draping, and illuminated with textured gobo lighting. Further white silk draping bunched with fairy-lights formed a welcoming entrance drape. Tall white fairy-light trees and a white archway above their stairwell matched the luxe white-on-white feel with the Pandora environment. A glowing bar and white lycra room dividers completed the VIP look.
