The 30th anniversary logo became the starting point for the design, with inspiration also drawn from the Waitaha River and the natural landscape. These ideas were carried throughout the space using native plants, natural textures and waka-inspired details.
At the entrance, the circular anniversary logo was framed with native plants and pou to create a strong welcome and photo moment. Across the tables, wooden waka-inspired vases, river runners, fern and kawakawa continued the concept, representing the idea of paddling forward together.
We also created a feature installation for the raffle area, suspending 200 kete pouches amongst native plants to encourage guest participation and support the Project Hauora fundraising goal.
The result was a cohesive event environment where every detail connected back to the story, purpose and vision behind the celebration.
