Haere Roa serves as the student hub of the University of Canterbury, but it is also a wonderful place for your next event!

Haere Roa features a selection of spaces, including it’s iconic Ngaio Marsh Theatre, Bentleys, and The Foundry.
Ngaio Marsh Theatre
The Ngaio Marsh Theatre is ideal for putting on a show! The Theatre is able to seat 327 in tiered theaters seating, or 220 with dining table seating. The space also comes with it’s state of the art audio visual setup.
Bentleys
Bentleys is an event space over looking the river Avon, and is perfect for a wide range of uses. Bentleys is able to seat 50 for dining or hold 100 for cocktail events
The Foundry
The Foundry is a modern bar space with many drink options. Perfect for hosting a party! The Foundry can host 100 seated, or 300 for cocktail events!
