CIAL Christmas Celebration Takes Off

This festive season, an empty store space at Christchurch Airport was transformed into a magical aviation-themed Christmas experience. Featuring the custom-designed interactive ‘Jingle Jet’ with moving parts, lights, and cockpit buttons that activate fun sounds. Airplane motif snowflakes, sleighs under the wheels, and a giant Santa sack full of gifts provided unique Christmas photo opportunities. A runway carpet and control tower added playful, practical touches to the immersive display.

The festive fun didn’t stop there – we added even more joy with craft activities and face painting, creating an engaging, family-friendly environment that perfectly captures the spirit of the season.
