LEST WE FORGET
ANZAC Day, a public holiday in Australia and New Zealand, to honor and remember those who have, and continue to, sacrifice so much to protect our countries and way of life.
Upstairs at Westfield Riccarton we created the ‘remembrance path’, dedicated to stories from the World War 1 battle at Gallipoli, where 11,025 Australians and New Zealanders lost their lives and a further 22,640 were wounded.
Big thanks to the NZ Army Museum for providing the content of fascinating stories and images from our brave ancestors.
