About
After graduating in Architectural Design, I headed overseas in search of adventure. My travels took me as far as the UK, which became home for a while, before I eventually landed in Bondi Beach, Sydney. After years of chasing the endless summer, I’ve now returned to my roots in Christchurch with my family.
With a 20-year background in hospitality, moving into the events industry was a natural progression. It’s allowed me to combine hands-on problem solving with design, building, and a deep understanding of how events work in the real world.
A typical workday
Coffee. Move something from point A to point B. Tidy. Fix something. CNC something. Paint red things white. Dust a saber-tooth tiger. Move that thing back to point A. Clean. Paint white things red. Polish a giraffe.
Favourite project or activation
Choosing just one is tough. Any project that involves something I’ve built is always satisfying – especially seeing it out in the wild. Our 25 sqm LED dance floor was a standout, and honestly, any outdoor festival is a good time… provided the sun shows up.
