I have gained a diverse range of experience across various fields. My accounting journey
began in the United States, where I assisted my brother with the financial management
and payroll for his plumbing company. Additionally, I helped a friend set up and manage
their MYOB system.

Upon returning to New Zealand with my husband and three children, I took on a role as
a waitress, which allowed me to balance work with my family responsibilities. Later, I
transitioned into a contractor role with a building company before moving into a parttime position that aligned better with my family’s needs.

When I came across the advertisement for Themepro, I immediately felt that the role
was a perfect match for my skills and experience.

Accounting with a touch of fun—that’s what drew me in. After working with Chris for a
few years, I realized just how much I enjoyed it, so I brought it into the company. I thrive
on the diversity of tasks and the vibrant, family-like atmosphere we have here. It’s truly
special to come to work each day and be part of something so fulfilling.

I can’t pinpoint a single favourite event because each one is so unique and enjoyable.
What I truly cherish is the sense of satisfaction that comes when we’ve completed the
installation, just before everyone arrives. As I step back and admire our work, I often
think, “They’re going to love this!” We take immense pride in delivering the very best.

Previously, I handled more of the accounting responsibilities, but with Aleisha joining
our team, I’ve transitioned away from accounts and have been relishing the opportunity
to focus on events and client interactions. This shift has greatly diversified my daily
activities.
Now, my days are often spent creating mood boards, designing events, and
collaborating with the team to brainstorm and develop innovative concepts. I
particularly enjoy the days when we exchange ideas and craft exceptional experiences.
